From the Closet:
Bang Bang

Wayne dress, Marc by Marc Jacobs sneakers, Yves Saint Laurent ring, H&M bracelets, Topshop necklace

I’ve been a fan of the blue and gold color combination for as long as I can remember. And cobalt blue is still the “it” color that is showing no signs of disappearing anytime soon. i’m still trying to figure out if anyone looks bad in cobalt. Feels like a winner.

From the Closet:
The Plaid Dilemma

Zara shirt, denim shorts, shoes, and clutch, Aqua leather jacket, Nixon watch, Low Luv x Erin Wasson jewelry

The year was 1999. Sometime in March or April — after 4 years of wearing the same blue and green plaid skirt, I was finally free to discard it and start being the real me, sans uniform. Since then, plaid, generally, has been a dilemma, and blue/green plaid, specifically, has been sort of an enemy. As such, I refuse to acknowledge the possibility that the instant connection I had with this effortless plaid shirt had anything to do with my days as a Catholic high school student.

Boughetto

Juicy Couture t-shirt, Club Monaco vest, T by Alexander Wang skirt, Marc by Marc Jacobs shoes, Ray-Ban sunnies, Zara bag, Nixon watch

This is my “basketball wife” look. Or at least how I imagine I would dress if I were one. Which is entirely a possibility you should know. Happy March Madness! xoxo

Two

Exactly two years ago today, in a little apartment in my favorite city in the world (London), where I took a solo trip because I had time off from work and because I needed both a little inspiration and to find myself, I somehow managed to conquer the confusion of WordPress, upload a not so professional photo of me, and publish my first post. She (my blog) has been on my mind every single day since then, and while I know she could be better (and she will), I’m proud of what she has become. And every time I want to throw in the towel and give up, whether it be because I don’t have enough time to make her as good as she is in my mind, or because I don’t think enough people are reading, or because I don’t feel enough support from those I most expect to support me, I get these little signs. If you’re reading this right now, you’ve probably been one of them. And to you, I say thank you! I hope you enjoy her half as much as I do!!! xoxo
